Spot dead links and redirections

AM-DeadLink is a search and lookup tool that enables you to check URLs for possible dead links and redirections with ease. Developed by Aignesberger Software GmbH, this program deeply scrutinizes various file sources such as texttab-delimitedCSV, and HTML.

Additionally, the app also includes web browsers like Google ChromeMicrosoft EdgeFirefoxBraveVivaldiOpera, and Internet Explorer. AM-DeadLink is a freeware program that you can download and use on your Windows desktop as long as it supports the operating system you currently have.

Declutter browser bookmarks

This internet utility program is particularly handy if you usually browse and add bookmarks into your browser lots of times. It provides a set of cutting-edge tools that will help you easily identify dead links and duplicates. Apart from that, this software solution is probably one of the few programs that offer support for a wide variety of popular web browsers.

On top of that, you will be greeted by a neat and well-designed user interface once you launch its desktop app. The browser you've selected to check will automatically be scanned. Not only that, but its bookmarks will also be displayed. After the scanning process, it will show a detailed view of all important information. From there, you can see the name, URL, potential errors, status, absolute path, and folders of the browser.

If you aren't satisfied with the detection results, you can manually provide the path you prefer to use when scanning a specific browser. Moreover, it permits you to export the scanned links to separate files, which allows you to choose the fields to be included in the output file at the same time. Unfortunately, though, in its last update, it is no longer capable of removing browser bookmarks due to the constant changes in storing it.

Well-organized files and bookmarks

AM-DeadLink is a notable solution that will help you maintain the organization of your file sources and browser bookmarks. This essential task will not require much learning curve, thanks to its straightforward and intuitive user interface. It is highly recommended, especially if you have a large collection of bookmarks as well as files.
